This local market has two locations, one on the outside of town as you edge your way to Da Nang, and the second location near Ba Le Market (newly opened). It’s a local shop with meat/produce/pantry items/household items with local prices, and staples in a store, rather than the open air market. It’s a large local chain, comparable to Moon Milk without the selection of Western items.

Shop the daily pop-up Cua Địa market early for the best selection. Find it just past Cham Chi Club extending on to the streets and down an alley where you’ll find anything that you need to feed your family. This is an early morning market - get there early for the best selection of items and to find the vendors assembled on the roadside or down an alley near the WinMart Supermarket. This is our favourite local market to find unique snacks, items and foods.

Local Tips, Hidden Gems and Hard to Find Items
Good Eats Hoi An has delicious food in-store, but you can contact the store through their social media pages for full-size of desserts and cakes, delicious tortillas or a jar of their flavourful hummus.
Feeding a large family? Sometimes, it’s easier to do one big shop. Hire a car or take a motorbike to Mega Market in Da Nang to find a traditional style supermarket that has everything from house and kitchen wares, to imported food from many different countries like France, Italy and Japan.
In Hoi An, if there’s something that you’re searching for and cannot find - head over to Hoi An Gourmet. Hoi A Gourmet is a great place to find a few western staples, meat and frozen items. If you can’t find something in-store, the shop keeper will often be able to order it in.
To make the shopping process seamless, you can order your weekly order for meat and staples like olive oil, or butter from Rosemary Food Store. You can order from Rosemary, and have your order delivered in as little as one-hour. As expected, the prices are slightly higher than visiting the market and buying the items yourself.
Shop the Mini Marts in your neighbourhood! These mini marts are usually chock full of household items, pantry items and snacks, and even produce. You’ll often find really low prices for items compared to the market, tucked away in homes and shops.
Dont’ skip the exterior of the market for even better prices than within! Look for stands that are selling 1-2 unique items, and don’t be afraid to negotiate the prices for the produce being purchased. These pop-up stands can feel completely random (like if you see someone with a stand full of cantaloupes or yams) but the prices are generally listed on a sign - so you know how much you’re going to pay per kilo before you fill a basket.
