Fifteen minutes on the bike from the Old Town and you’re on the sand, and after a few years of riding out most weeks, we’ve watched this coastline shift, erode and rearrange itself. An Bằng is the famous one and it earns it, but it’s not where we go on a quiet afternoon. The good stuff is the stretches on either side — and the one everyone still recommends, Cửa Đại, is the one to skip. Here’s each of them, honestly, and which kind of day each is for.
