Hidden Beach, Hoi An

Skip the crowds. While An Bang fills up with beachgoers and tour groups, Hidden Beach stays exactly what its name promises: quiet, local, and refreshingly undiscovered. This is where Hoi An's residents come after work - a volleyball game marked out in the sand, families wading in, everyone drifting toward the water as the sky turns gold.

And what water it is: clear enough to see your feet, clean underfoot, and deep just off the shore, so it's a proper swimmer's beach rather than a paddle-and-retreat one. Come for the calm. Stay for the sunset swim.

As of July 2026, Hidden Beach is clear from debris and construction from the ongoing work to preserve the shoreline.

  • Parking: Free, park at the designated parking on side of alley across from restaurant

  • Sun Beds: Yang Smile Beach Bar. It varies between no cost for sunbeds if you purchase food or drink, to a 50,000 VND sun bed fee - depending on the season.

How to get to hidden beach: Driving or biking along Lac Long Quan, look for the sign that says ‘Hidden Beach’. Walk or drive down the alley and you’ll find Hidden Beach.
